Just one little section of the Sproatley training circuit proved to be hazardous for the couple of dozen riders who turned up to take part and had, reluctantly, to be cancelled. Thanks to those who turned out to marshal for us – Geoff Griffin, Terry Grainger and Gil Bradley – and to Richard and Sheila, and to Geoff and Terry for helping me try to clear the ice from the T junction near Burton Constable. Pity we had no salt with us. Hopefully the weather will be kinder next week on this circuit.
