Hull Thursday rider takes third in Fife Open TT

Our own ‘Caledonian Concorde’, Jim Trevor took a respectable 3rd place in a recent Open ‘25’ TT held on a sporting course in Fife.

Recording a 57:29 for the 25 miles, Jim stated that he was pleased with the time due to the nature of the course, commenting the time trial mainly covers B-roads where there are 6 left-hand junctions, 1 right-hand turn and three roundabouts to negotiate.

This is no drag strip and even between the turns the roads twist. Failing to beat the hour on the course last season Jim targeted the event for this season which also earns him good points in the league standing within the Fife CA Time Trial Points Competition which is held over 17 of 21 Open TT organised by the FCA.

Jim currently holds a top 5 place in the league which has over 80 timetriallists registered for the season.
