The Albert Thorpe Memorial Australian Pursuit

The Albert Thorpe Memorial Australian Pursuit, organised under LVRC, took place on Sunday 4th September 2011 at Braithwell. The race was over 11 laps of a 3.7 mile circuit (40 miles). Well Done Mark Robinson, who finished in 2nd Place. Read more

Hutchinson Wins Blenkinsop 10

Michael Hutchinson was very impressive in the Maurice Blenkinsop Memorial on Saturday recording more than one and a half miles per hour faster than second placed Kevin Dawson, a multi-national Best All Rounder champion. Adam Duggleby was third with a 19’:12” and 11 riders beat 30 mph on a beautiful sunny ‘summer’ day in early April. Read more

Joel Wainman and Andy Jackson win Ely 25 in fast time

The first event in the Hull Thursday calendar, the George Ely Memorial over the sporting “Hardriders” 25 course, got off to a good start with some very fast times. This Driffield course can be very tough when the wind blows fiercely from the west, side for most of the way, but it showed promise today when Lee Watson and Craig Medcalf returned first with a 58. This didn’t last long, only three minutes, when Dave Shackleton and Steve Ward recorded a 53. Read more
