The Hull Thursday Annual Prize Presentation Dinner will be on Saturday 24th November 2012 at 7pm. As last year the venue will be Lazaat (Woodhill Way, Cottingham).

I would like to think that many of the regular crew will support this annual dinner which I am once again organising this year. Especially those who rode the BIG G SPORTIVE, which I co-organised.

Hull’s top group ‘The Ordinary Men’ will be playing again for the 4th year running. For those of a nervous disposition, there will be a ‘quiet’ room available!!!!

****** Our very special guest speaker will be Hull Thursday member, Billy Holmes – A Road Race Olympic Silver medallist in Melbourne 1956 and past winner of The Milk Race (Now The Tour of Britain) – Bill will be bringing along his medal so some good photo opportunities ******

Last years event was a HUGE success with more than 150 people attending. Would be nice to see if we can beat that figure and make it an even better night than last year!!!

I will endeavour to put you all together in tables of 10 or 12.

The menu will be as follows:

Starter: Roasted Bell Pepper + Tomato Soup – Pesto Crème Fraiche – Wild Garlic Mushrooms – Toasted Brioche
Main: Chargrilled Chicken Breast, Cream + Tarragon Sauce
Vegetarian Option: Onion, Pear + Fig Tartlet with Ricotta Cheese + Chesnuts
Dessert : Baked Vanilla Cheesecake
Followed by Coffee/Tea + Fine Chocolates
