Not a bad day for racing all told. Fairly warm for the time of year and and although slightly windy for the first leg thereafter fairly quick and the road surface was good all the way round.

 

A good win for Will, and a fine performance for Richard, too, in second place.

 

Tightly packed for the next few places and plenty of scope for a good scrap or two as the seasons progresses. Good to see few new names making their TT debut including Callum, Paul Cairns and Ed Walker.

 

We hope you guys enjoyed it and will be back for more as the season continues.

 

It would be helpful if those wanting to ride as privates could enter in advance if possible as it makes setting the field out a bit easier and also helps if we are short of personnel.

 

Excellent service from Mark and Neil with the organisation today. Thanks to Neil sweeping the corners and the excellent results service with the times published before I got back to the start area.

 

Finally thanks to Paul (Callum’s dad) for helping out with the marshalling at last minute.

 

The next event is a one-off Wednesday night event in 10 days time. Downhill and fast as hell. Best start putting some weight on in preparation. I really enjoy this event and don’t believe anyone who says its easy – it hurts like hell but is a great sensation to be averaging 30mph plus – bring it on!
