You may be aware, Marie Curie is the charity partner for this year’s three UK stages of the Tour de France, the most prestigious, gruelling and inspirational sporting challenge in the world.

The Grand Départ, takes place in Yorkshire and then on to Cambridge and London and will be seen by a global television audience of 3 billion viewers.

We are thrilled to tell you that, as part of our partnership with the Tour, we have secured a fantastic and unique opportunity for cycling enthusiasts which offers participants the chance to cycle part of the first stage of the race in Yorkshire just a few hours ahead of the professional riders. This is a once in a lifetime occasion where those taking part will be able to ride the course, take in all the atmosphere of the crowds lining the roads and test themselves against the best in the world – albeit a few hours before the main peloton storms through.

All the details can be found on the attached invitation and detailed itinerary – there are different levels of package available, according to the sum pledged, with the main package including a training camp weekend in April, tickets for the presentation of the teams on arrival in the UK,  participation in the 1st stage cycle and tickets to attend the finale and closing ceremony of the Tour in Paris three weeks later.
