A good evening for the first evening event. A little chilly but a favorable wind, and dry.

Great ride from John Brearley to take a convincing win, riding as a privateer so not scoring any series points.

Steve Guymer, Alex Dalton and Neil Cleminshaw were all closely grouped, but nearly 20 seconds off the pace, which is a big difference at these speeds (but still very fast I would add).

A good turn out in the end with eight private entries – hopefully we will see some of the riders again.

Next week we are at Lockington for the 10-miler.
