Big G 2014 – Cycling Weekly thanks
This letter was published in a recent edition of ‘the comic’, Cycling Weekly, thanking the organisation of the Big G.
Another Yorks triumph
Yorkshire does it again! I have just completed the Big G Sportive, organised by the Hull Thursday Road Club, for the fourth time.
As usual, it was organised by John Ulyatt, Paul Kilvington and the team, with a great new start point at Bishop Burton College. A great 100km with a legendary feed station – especially the wraps!
The weather was nowhere near as bad as forecast on the day, except for the last 10 miles, where at times, it poured. It was a warm, humid day though, so no jacket was needed. It has been a great July!
