The event went very well today (even if I say so myself!) but it was down to all those who helped me put it together today.

I would like to convey my thanks to everyone who helped in getting the event on the road.

Special thanks to Geoff Backshall of City Road Club (Hull) who stepped in at the last minute to time-keep, along with Richard Foster, also of City Road Club, after Gil Foston unfortunately ended up in hospital yesterday after coming off his bike and suffering a suspected dislocated hip.

We all wish Gil a speedy recovery.
