Training Session #9

The last day of February saw the last of the training sessions this year, run off on the Sproatley circuit.

Thirty riders turned up for this session and, after last week’s dearth of helpers, we had more than we needed this week. Good thing because there may have been a hunt from Rise Hall as there was much more traffic than usual.

Six riders started in Group 1, 8 in Group 2, 7 in Group 3 and 7 in Group 4 and a couple more slotted in when they turned up.

Here are the lap times:

There was a bit more wind today and the extra lap made it a bit harder.

There was a bit more co-operation in the groups but the wind took its toll and some, like Victoria, had to get back earlier. She left her thanks to everyone, the marshals, the other riders and to Richard and me.

Thanks also to Mike McAllister who, on behalf of all the riders, thanked me and Rich and presented us with some ‘Thank-You’ chocolates. I hope you all got some benefit from the sessions.

One of the best ways of monitoring your progression is to see how you fare against others.

Hope that you’re all ready for racing and that you continue to enjoy it. I did take some video of your cornering, which you might like to study…
