Much loved and accomplished ex-Thursday rider Joel Wainman was recently diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease after a period of diminishing health.

In response to the news good friend Jonathan Michael Surtees set up a crowdfunding campaign to raise money to help support Joel through this illness.

Hull Thursday will be holding a club members only meeting on Monday 9th May from 7.30pm at The Beech Tree public house on South Ella Way in Kirk Ella to discuss how the club can help support Joel,  and other matters.
