The Webster Trophy Beswick 10 m TT – RESULTS 24th April 2024

A cold polar wind continues to strafe the east riding as tonight’s brave souls took on the challenge of a 5 mile jaunt into that chilling airmass, before slipping into that refreshing returning breeze for the final 5 miles.
There apparently wasn’t much easing off going on the times of the few brave riders who fought the elements who all put in a sterling effort in the conditions, convincing me that my own steady re-build after hardly riding for months, is the right approach. Last place could’ve been mine to cherish but the want for better legs will be tried at the next outing, not this.
Dave Brearley (Addform Performance Coaching) has been riding his bike however and took the honours in some style, comfortably putting almost two minutes into Nigel ‘Miguel’ Whiteley, Thursday’s in form rider of the moment. The following four all tussling within a minute of each other, a clear invite to others to come mix it up a bit, hopefully along with some warmer weather!

Thanks to all for attending, competitors and helpers alike.
Special thanks to Geoff Rawson for organising, and John Savage and Angie Rawson for time keeping.
See you all next week for a re-run on the Beswick 10m TT, with the Wright Cup up for grabs for fastest Hull Thursday club rider!
C’mon, Miguel can’t take them all, his mantlepiece can’t take it!
