Trophy and Other Award Winners 2024

 

Nigel Whiteley deservedly taking the lions share of the honours at the end of season Yuletide dinner.

 

Nigel Whiteley was showing good form all year winning a total of 8 individual club TT trophies, taking the overall TT series on his road bike as well as the Veterans Road Race Champions Trophy,   the poor guy is sure to lose some form with all those to polish!

 At least Hull Thursday roadman Lee Coulson got to keep the open TT cup which him and Nige won together.  We won’t ask who was hanging off the back but let’s face it,  it was neither you or I,  so fair play to the good team effort that day!  

 

All told a great seasonal event was enjoyed by all,  only commiserations go to the clubman of the year Ian Pythian who couldn’t make it. 

 

 

Special thanks to Geoff Rawson for running the series and organising the dinner,  and together with Richard Guymer for running the event on the day.   Other club stalwarts Angie Rawson who won the official of the year award.

 

Angie Rawson picks up The Bell Salver from her husband Geoff Rawson,  the award for being voted the club official of the year and below,  club stalwart Richard Guymer picks up the trophy for the over 60 age group winner.
