At the same time Jon Brearley won the event with a 21.08 on a warm but windy night with a nagging NE wind that did not seem to help anywhere.

Finlay rode his TT bike for a change and came in second on 21.46 and Ben Williams continued to improve with 22.43 for 3rd place.

Lee Coulson was once again quickest on a standard road bike in a very respectable 22.59.

In the ladies’ race, Pauline Mitchell set a new ladies’ course record with 25.56, taking 14 seconds off the old record set by Nicky Moore in 2016.

Thanks to all the John and Peter for organising, to all the marshals and to Neil for stepping in to time-keep at the finish due to Gil’s absence.
