The opening event of the Hull Thursday Road Club Time Trial series was held on Saturday, 5 March 2016 over a flattish 14 mile course at Sproatley.

This was the first event the series and although run as a 2-up Team Time Trial still a good chance to assess the fitness levels of the riders coming out of winter training.
